Wheelman's Rest is located near the villages of Medina, Lyndonville, and Albion in Orleans County, not far from the shores of Lake Ontario. Our farm and property overlook the Oak Orchard River, which offers some of the finest fishing in the country.

We are participating member of the Country Barn Quilt Trail of Western New York along with many of our friends, neighbors, and even our Church.

Each summer we love to shop at the many local farmers markets where we are able to find the highest quality, locally grown fruits and vegetables--much better than anything you will ever find in a super market and at prices you just cannot beat.

In nearby Medina we love to eat at Zambistro Restaurant where our palettes are continually delighted by chef Michael Zambisto. Michael studied at the Culinary Institute in New York City, worked as a chef in NYC for several years and then returned to his home town of Medina where he opened his restaurant with a desire to serve up gourmet comfort food. We are definitely comforted by his incredible creations served in a warm and comfortable environment.

If you visit Zambistro, you will find a collection of oil paintings I created especially for Zambistro and their customers (some are listed for sale in the "Art List" featured in the menu).
